Filming for the project is already underway after a successful GoFundMe campaign helped not only raise but surpass the resources needed for the film.
Its expected release of April has been set and so far, teasers have shown footage of Stan travel to a fish camp, ride in a small airplane to Tanana, and blast down the Yukon River in a speedboat. It's refreshing to see Stan engage in other activities outside of the show like hunting and fishing, and get more mobile to explore and interact with even more of the surrounding wilderness he resides in.

Who hasn't, once or twice, thought about how cool and adventurous it'd be to go completely off the grid and ditch the "traditional" way of life: going to school, going to more school, getting a job, struggling to pay bills, and going to baby showers we couldn't care less about, Stan Zuray is one of those adventurous badasses who decide to actually do it, but what happened to the popular show he was on?
All the while, Courtney is also a mom of two. Jordan is a determined man who had taken a year hiatus from the frigid land that is Alaska. Living in the city was not enough for this survivalist, and he found himself on the back-trails to Tanana. Jordan brought with him a whole bag of energy, and then some. His patience and composure is undoubtedly an asset in frozen Alaska. Luckily, Nations has the best people to piggyback on in case he finds himself in the deep end; his uncle, PAT Moore, and his cousin, Cortney Agnes.
Wright is everything but a coward. One of the most formidable hunters in Tanana, Locals, often implores his help to catch even the most impossible predators.
Luckily, Yukon Men cast Charlie is the right man for the job. Thanks to having his roots in Alaska, Charlie has honed his hunting and gathering skills. He grew up near the Yukon River and then later moved to Tanana more than two decades ago. Consequently, Charlie is a library of Alaskan animals and the surrounding landscape. Wright is a Yukon Man just as much as his dad, Charlie Wright, is. Though Bob would rather live in Fairbanks, he continues to brave the Tanana weather and conditions. Unfortunately, Yukon Men cast Bob had a close brush with death when he got involved in an almost fatal snowmobile accident.
He is still recovering from the physical and mental scars he suffered. However, his survivalist spirit will undoubtedly get him through. All Discovery Channel shows Gold Rush: The Dirt. Gold Rush: White Water. Comments Collapsed Expanded. I have learned a lot about the subsistence lifestyle and admire the whole cast. They show their support for the community that they love.

If the zombie apocalypse happens how will I know how to survive unless Yukon Men returns to provide more glimpses into true survival skills..
Because i just got home and i'm now watching a rerun from The Wolf Invasion.. I somehow find it hard to believe that people were complaining about Yukon Men because of the animal brutality? WE all know that is a crock..
I repeat one of the BEST shows. Well, not exactly, but describing the town as remote is akin to saying the winters are chilly. Located at the junction of the Tanana and Yukon rivers deep in the state's interior, the town has no roads in or out, and for its plus residents, survival in the winter is a daily challenge. But they stick together, a bond that helps them overcome the harsh conditions. Just 60 miles from the Arctic Circle lies a town on the edge of civilization: Tanana, Alaska. This frozen village of people is at the junction of two powerful rivers, with no roads in or out, where wolves howling through the frigid night air remind the residents how isolated they really are.
As the men come together to face these new obstacles, each is also challenged on a personal level.
