2011 honda ruckus how fast

The exhaust is worth it for sure though, it sounds amazing for a 50cc. Alexander — July 20, Id have to keep it with me if i want to check the oil. Projectile oil isnt very eco friendly either. Bought the stage 1 kit for my stock Ruckus. Ryan trs — July 22, Bought the stage 2 kit last month. All around better performance. Cuts in half the time it takes to accelerate from mph compared to stock, and able to consistently go 45 mph. Beyond 45 unable to test without a new speedometer. Matt — September 1, This Stage 2 kit is awesome and worth every penny.

July 22, at pm. March 27, at pm. I weigh same and my maxes out at 36 mph. April 6, at am. Of course the flip side is, it does 40 in a stiff headwind. So give me a couple trucks to draft, and hello noisy valves. June 20, at pm. Would you say that the Ruckus, for example, at its base model, would be a good starting-out mode of transportation? April 16, at pm.

I currently have 2 Honda Ruckuses and they are the best scooters i have ever ridden! And I would say that yes they are more expensive then the Tao Tao scooters which i also have! So durability wise they are hands down the best scooter out there! If your driving will be primarily in 35 mph zones and below, sure. The Ruckus climbs hills slowly, and is quite dangerous in a 45 mph or above speed zone because other drivers will be riding your tail expecting you to reach the speed limit.

It depends what your expectations are for a vehicle. If you want low fuel cost and low speed, the Ruckus is for you. I wrote a whole post about why the Ruckus might be a bad idea for new riders.

July 15, at am. It looks cool for a few. July 18, at am. I have a Ruckus. I can do 42mph on level ground with a mild headwind. About 34 up a mild slope. This little critter hauls along quite nicely with my lb butt on it. I played with the air pressures until I got a decent speed versus a comfortable ride. September 10, at pm. Got my Ruckus last month, all stock, no restrictor.

I get top speed of on flat and down hill. I weigh lbs. October 16, at pm. March 30, at am. I also got a Ruckus last August, dealership said restrictor was removed. I get on flat, down hill with back wind, and about uphill. Only vehicle now constantly getting between mpg.

No upgrades yet. Mileage almost at mi. Oil using Rotella T6. August 6, at am. September 21, at pm. Clint was super and got me a great deal with no hassle or hidden charges. I plan to keep my Ruck stock for the most part. It rides great the way it is. Get one before Honda stops making them - it's a classic! Wow, I didn't think twice on this and bought it.

Love it!!! This will be my new street and camping TOY commuter. This is a keeper for sure. I have a 30 mile round trip commute. My truck gets 13 mpg, the bike gets 85 mpg. Top speed on level ground is about 35 mph. Going downhill with a tail wind I have hit about 42 mph.

Climbing a steep hill the speed can drop to 15 to 20 mph. A strong head wind can also lower the top speed. Several reviewers have complained about the under seat storage. I think the Ruckus has the best hauling capacity of any scooter. I can carry a 20 propane cylinder between the seat and the battery box to get it filled. I have hauled many bags of groceries by tying the bags to the seat frame, and using cargo nets that are about one foot square.

I throw a day backpack under the seat for things that you always want to carry, like a flashlight, a few tools, fuses, a brush for helmet hair, etc. I just added a Givi top box so I can leave the helmet on the bike when I don't want to bring the helmet in for some reason. The Ruckus is a people magnet. Someone always wants to talk about the bike. The Ruckus is also fun to ride, so I find myself looking for any opportunity to run an errand.

When I wear out this Ruckus I will be getting another little Ruckus for commuting. I want a bigger bike for long road trips, but that would be an additional bike, not instead of the little Ruckus. I ride year round.

As soon as the snow and ice melt following a storm I am riding. If it is merely cold I just wear more layers. Coldest ride so far is about five below. For those not in the know, the Honda Ruckus is a 49cc scooter or moped that, in most states, does not require a special license to drive. This means that they hold their value well, just like every other Honda product, and they are known for their reliability.

There are Ruckus owners anywhere between 5, to 20, miles currently on their Ruckus scooters without any major mechanical issues aside routine maintenance. Which means having to change a belt, the tires, the oil, and maybe a headlight bulb every now and then.
